Tanya Lashley is a former Corporate Advertising & Real Estate Executive turned professional Actor. She is a proud mother of one 9 year old daughter Chance. Though born in the USA, Tanya has family roots in Barbados West Indies where she spent her summers as a child. The ocean is her safe place.
Tanya enjoys bringing joy to people and making them laugh. When she created this show, she set out to combine two of her passions acting and advertising. Though Tanya faced many hurdles and set backs, she set out to do something that has never been done before.
Meet me in Millburn is the first ever town wide sitcom. Not only does this project boost the local economy, but it makes everyone feel good. It also creates an enhanced sense of community.
Mukta Bhatia’s goal is to help manage your most valuable investment: your home. Her focus, experience and attention to detail has helped her become a passionate advocate for her clients in fulfilling their real estate goals.
She has expanded her education to serve her clients better by getting accreditations to better represent her clients as they sell or buy their home. Having had the opportunity to work with seniors and their families to help them guide and transition from one home to another and helping reduce client stress by managing the entire relocation process, including packing, unpacking, selling or donating furniture, and responsibly disposing of unwanted items, she has become passionate about this work.
Before moving to New Jersey, Mukta lived in India and London working as a banker, educator, and financial advisor. She understands the unique challenges of moving across countries and states, and trying to find footing in new communities. She is grateful for what her own community in Short Hills has given her, and she is passionate about giving back. For example, she has leadership roles with two local volunteer groups: the Junior League and the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum. Mukta enjoys deep sea diving and photography.

The only place Nadege Nicoll has ever lived in the US is Millburn Short Hills. She moved here with her family and kids in 2007, from not-so-sunny England. Although she herself is French, she did not retain much of her original culture, other than Ze accent, and punctuating an occasional sentence with ”Vavavoum” . She left her career in finance to raise her three children, and has been documenting her parenting journey with a humorous book series, “Living With Grown-Ups”.
Now that her kids are older, she has partnered with her very good friend, and together they launched their new business, ONYA BARS, in 2023. ONYA BARS sells delicious granola bars specially formulated to naturally support women’s wellness while they experience their menopause journey.
When not on camera goofing around with the crew of “Meet Me In Millburn”, she enjoys sitting in a cozy chair, with a coffee and a good book.
Cynthia is a professional musician, cellist, music educator and music therapist. By day, she works in a mental health care agency and school with students ages 3 through 22 and adults, infusing music into their daily lives. She performs as a cellist with the Orchestra of St. Peter’s By the Sea and the Encore Orchestra, among others. She has performed in recital and has performed twice at Carnegie Hall. She is excited to join Meet Me in Millburn as Bre’s friend, Rachel.
Savita is a resident of Short Hills since 2016. She is very involved in the community, be it actively volunteering in the Millburn Elementary and Middle schools or organizing fundraisers for the community initiatives. Savita is an experienced Human Capital Professional with an experience of 15+ years in Talent Acquisition, Project Management and Talent Operations and Strategy. Savita’s career in the Recruiting and People Operations & Strategy perfectly aligns with her passion for helping experienced professionals find their next best opportunity that aligns with their skills and experience. She enjoys playing tennis and volleyball and is one of the lead vocalist in the band called “Millburn Moksha” She plays the character of Priya in the series “Meet me in Millburn”
David is a senior in college at Drew University and will graduate in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications. He loves taking pictures of everything from cars to nature. He collects rare model cars and likes to build LEGO sets. He loves playing video games on his custom built computer and his vintage gaming consoles. He is an avid music lover and collects rare CDs as well as vintage and rare vinyl records. He is a member of Jersey Interceptors, a car group of people who own decommissioned police cars, and loves driving his 2017 Dodge Charger Pursuit 5.7L V8 AWD that used to be a police car in upstate New York as Unit 112 of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office. Tom arrived in Millburn in 2021 with his lovely wife and 2 toddlers after relocating from California. A software engineer by trade, Tom joined the crew when he saw an opportunity to finally scratch his itch for acting & writing. It didn’t take long for Tom and his family to grow fond of Millburn and he’s eager to share his love of the community through Meet Me in Millburn. When Tom isn’t working or with his family you can catch him playing ice hockey down in Woodbridge — go Wolves!
